Our babies sickness is surely not from HH, therefore don't you dare to blame yourself for things like these anymore, no friend do ga! :evil:
I agree with both ansonbaby and andiecyw, the weather is very unstable lately and the babies weren't very close that day (remember Natasha was the piggy of the day for sleeping through an hour at Pokka Cafe?).
Furthermore, went to see the doc yesterday and he said it's 中耳炎 and just realised that another baby from Dec03 also infected with this (even worst, it's acute 中耳炎), therefore there is NO WAY HH will infected us babies.
Don't worry lah, it always happens. Just hope all of our babies will recover soon lah!

Guess Dr Pang & Dr Chen are same kind of person afterall.
Went to see Dr Pang yesterday, he said Natasha has infection in the middle part of her ear and also in the throat, but he doesn't want to let her take any paracetomal at the moment since she had already taken tons (5ml each time) while at the hospital and the week after she's discharged. He only ask her to take 5 days running nose medicine and calpol if there's a temperature, hoping that she will fight her own battle this time. Although he did said if she still has fever on Friday, we should revisit the clinic.

For the baby's first time, actually, I ask my maid to mark down Andrea's daily schedule, eg, when/how many oz milk she took, # of poo poo, etc, so that even I'm not at home, I can know her status from the "report"(can record 1 mth in a A4 double sided paper, so very good for reference).
Also, every nite I'll use less than 1 min to mark down Andrea's first/interesting/ health situation in the "report", which I use this to update in Andrea's web site "諾珩成長手記" corner :mrgreen:

Same as Andrea lah, when she's 6 mths old, she's reach 97% weight, now only 40% after sick :cry:
Recently, I've accepted a free lance, which will work till next Thu (mostly work at home except 2 days), so I'm unable to go with u all lah. Have fun and remember to 報料 lah!
FYI, in GC, they've a set of "We Sing" & "We sing we learn", which are quite good, however, u can buy them in the Chinese book shop in cheaper price ("We sing we learn" $40 vs $17). Also, if u buy in Chinese book shop, u can enjoy 20% discount, the content (& cd) are the same but a bit different on the cover design. It's esp good for Anson (most suitable for 1.5 yr old)

3:30 p.m. is OK for me! How about ansonbaby and clic_1221?
My bb is much better now, she only got a little bit running nose and cough in the morning or at late afternoon. However she resume night feeding again, i think because she's not feeling well and want mama soothing her.
3.30 pm should be okay for me too. Although Natasha is still not feeling very well, but she's already much better. At least she's willing to let the maid rock her to sleep this afternoon.
I just realised that she notices that I've added some medicine in the milk. Actually, she did looked at the colour on the first feeding but decided to trust me, but I think it was yesterday when the maid let her see the medi bottle while preparing her milk that she decided her instinct was right, the milk has been "value-added". Now it's really hard to feed her the medi+milk, she refuses all the time. Don't know if I should try to just inject the medi directly to her mouth again or not.
Re: visiting GC
I should be ok at 3:30pm tomorrow if Anson can have his afternoon sleep earlier (I would try my best!). Today he was so sleepy but unwilling to sleep until 4:30pm cos he would like to play with my brother who came over to fix my computer! :evil:
My brother had checked for me a cheaper printing company to print the chinese words (on a 1/2A-4 paper), english words (on a 1/2A-4 paper) and the red dots (on A-4 paper) (files are download from 開心家庭網). Prices are $1 per words and $1.5/paper for dots. Maybe after visiting GC and comparing their quality, we can decide which one is cheaper and better. I'll let u see the samples from my brother tomorrow.
That's a good news that all babies are getting better. Same as andiecyws' bb, Ralph still have a little bit running nose and cough. :cry: He also very 痴身 :cry:

Last time Anson also hated drinking medicine cos my previous previous chinese baby-sitter who use the old method (hold his mouth tight and throw the medicine into his mouth) to force Anson to drink medicine when he was only 6-month old. So last time it was really difficult as every time he was crying like hell. Then, I changed the method by letting him drinking the medicine willingly......we tried many methods, like telling him that it was auntie (the doc) 比比 cos Anson 乖乖, saying that it's 甜甜 daddy mami also drink that, use the 針筒 to feed him something he likes to drink, so that he realised that something from the 針筒 is not that horrible......finally, now when he sees the medicine he will say 藥藥 and 飲飲, open the mouth and wait for me to feed him :-P In fact I had tried a little bit of his medicine, it's really sweet and always think that they should like it if we don't look so serious when we feed them!

for the We Sing We Learn, I've bought 3 versions, which I let Andrea to listen to the CD (songs + spoken version) and give the workbooks to my niece to play with.

The last one I mentioned is abandoned as my ex-colleague is now checking out for me a similar price but with thicker printing paper (not confirmed yet, still negotiating with a better price). Last time the sample I showed you (except babyso) was on a very thin paper but this time they are talking about on a thicker paper (like 260p, but not sure). I'd seen the sample, it's like a card (but of course not as thick as 三之三, but I don't need to use folder or stick it into another thick card again). Very good quality (use 數碼printing) and time savings. I've prepared 600 chinese words and 200 more english words already. Once it's ok, they only take 2-3 days for the printing :-P , 好心急! I know those words in 三之三 set is not enough, should u need the service, I may give u the details later on!

Think about it! I think the cost may be cheaper than the ink+card+paper if u print it by yourself and it really save u lots of time!
Got the schedule too, thanks! It's much better than me writing on my palm everyday. You know, it can be pretty weird when people overlooking my palm seeing all these milk, water, puree, sleep and poo poo schedules! ?-( I bet they must think I'm mad!

Guess what!? I went to GC with my husband the next evening after our visit cos I want to buy a Phonic Kid of my other friend too and also my husband wants to see the place too cos I told him about the conversation we had with anton and the lady about raising kid, he thinks it's quite impressive.
Anyway, we took a look at the Big Science stuff, seems pretty good, but very detail. Will probably think of getting one when Natasha is older and when my husband has time to teach her cos it's a very good tool for spending a quality parent-baby time when their time is so limited (and of course because my husband likes to watch discovery channel very much, so it's his cup of tea! ) I think it cost about $4000+.
(Thank god the lady didn't push us to buy that day.)
As for Natasha, I think she's mostly recovered now. Although she did sneezed twice on both Sat and Sun morning, due to the maid's fault. Again!! :evil: :evil:
On Sat, she leave the kitchen window open and kitchen door open and no extra clothes on Natasha while I was making some phone calls. So, she sneezed with some "nose water". Thank god that I discovered straight away and gave her a hot bath and let her sweat a bit, so... Safe!
On Sun, she had her top slide up to her chest underneath her "Tummy Wrap" and put her bare feet on the floor to teach her ABC straight from bed. Therefore, sneezed twice of couse! What a useless maid!!
