I know a very well qualified speech teacher who is now retired and offers private tuition on speech event. She also enrolls her students to the Schools Speech Festival competition. She gives the child a tape to learn hte material and they have a few meetings nearer the competition. My daughter used to learn with her since kindergarten and most of her friends got a prize last year. We formed a group of 4 to share an hourly session. Even when they were K3, they got merits in the English Open Class Solo Verse Speaking (Under 8), competing with foreign students.
