呢個Canada Summer Camp係由ymca攪的, 都有20個差不多的年齡的小朋友去的. YMCA都已經攪左好多年啦. 我對佢都有信心的. 我希望我細女學多自立同英文. 佢到而家都好想去, 仲未識驚.

前一個賓賓來到我家不夠兩天, 我已想炒佢, 諗下要賠一個月人工, 唔化算, 先至等到六個月後才炒佢.

我以前炒staff做唔夠一個月都係唔比一個月代通知金喎!!

據我所知, 末過試用期, 抄香港人就七日通知, 但抄賓賓或印印就要補足一個月或者一個月通知! 而家啲工人精過鬼, 告翻你轉頭仲麻煩!

Yes.. JasmineBB is correct. According to domestic labour law, I have to pay 1- month wages instead of notice for termination even she just worked for me for 1 day... this is the stupid law set by our stupid government to protect those Overseas domestic helpers. However, I told her I have to dismiss her yesterday and ask her to choose between 2 options, either she resigns or I terminate her, of coz she chose to resign, then I am lucky to save the 1-month wage as notice for her.

I am now very happy because I have kicked her out by yesterday early morning at 8am. 我覺得我無炒錯佢... 因為佢晌philippines都唔係窮, 所以佢d態度唔係好志在... 同埋佢覺得又要湊我個女, 又要做家務好辛苦... (我都唔駛佢煮飯買送啦~) 佢分明就係簡僱主啦.... 見過我auntie屋企個工人淨係清潔同煮飯, 日頭個個返晒工, 佢未覺得好正囉~~~ But she is a very clever person..... I can say 佢個腦轉得好快囉...
1. 我一話要dismiss佢, 叫佢簽收返d文件... 佢就話要打電話....

2. 我俾機票佢,佢第一句就話唔走, 要find a new employer, 問我張機票valid幾耐...

3. 話要囉左張正式身份證先, 我話你黎左十幾日, 邊有咁快得... 同埋我話係agent幫你囉, 叫佢問返agent.. 唔關我事...

第一次出國都咁醒....

Lucky, I kept my old Indonesian maid with me. Becos she loves my daughter very much, she is still very willing to take care of her and work for us. I have warned her very seriously that don't talk back anymore, or else I will terminate her and ask her to leave like I could ask my bun bun yesterday, she saw that and i think she doesn't want to have the same consequence.

Thank you for your kindness to recommend your agent to me, I would like to have the contact just in case I have to find another maid, becos my current Indo maid will end her contract after 7 months, I will see her performance and decide to get a new one or not. Pls PM me or can give the info to me when we dine out later. Cheers!

It's the first time I tried using this website, and I thought I couldn't post my mail. Today, I found that my mail was posted. ( I'm so happy!) Let me tell you something about myself. I live in Laguna Verde and myfirst baby girl will join our family in late September very soon, so I'm very excited. BY the way, I need to hire an Indonesian maid to look after my baby girl as both my husband and I need to work. Once gain, I want to say I'm happy to join the big family of Hunghom friends.

Also, congratulation to you. It must be very exciting now. Take some pictures now to show your baby later on. This is a very very sweet moment to remember.

Dear Alan ma,
Thanks a lot. Actually, I had found an agent with the help of my friend and now the document things are in progress and hopefully, my maid will come next month. But, I want to know more about how to cope with a maid as I have never had a maid before. I 'm quite worried about this. Can you share your experience?

我返左黎啦!我好多年前去過曼谷、芭提雅最基本行程，今次去番仲同成家人去，果然滋味唔同左，哈哈哈!

，佢咁高學歷，查實做工人真係屣左佢，應該番菲律賓做傭工顧問，或者做律師，大材小用左佢啦。佢仲想留番係香港做野?俾著係我，會看住佢執野，對佢好d，送埋佢去機場，最後送多句拜拜俾佢，祝佢一路順風唔洗番轉頭。唔係人人都請得起理種打工皇帝架。

錢潑出去，當破財擋災，如果留個瘟神係身邊，萬一囡囡有咩事，咁點止破財咁簡單，係咪?

請到好或唔好工人，有時要講彩數，總之對工人我政策係恩威並施，對佢地太好，太冇所謂佢地會恰老細，如果太惡，佢地唔會誠心誠意做野，又驚佢出蠱惑，唉!做咁貼身既工人既老細都幾困難。

係呀, 請工人真係好講彩數. 我算比較好彩, 請到一個我放心的工人. 我自成家後只請過一個工人, 就係而家果個, 佢係印傭. 請之前, 我的要求係一定要o向星加坡做過(因為打掃會比較乾淨), 識少少英文(最初大家溝通最重要), 識廣東話就最好啦和有湊bb的經驗. 呢個工人都幫左我地3年啦, 我陀緊Alan時請的. 佢初初黎到, 我都成日同佢傾計, 因我要知佢的背景, 也想知佢為人及性格係點. 我亦話比佢知我地要求佢大約幾點起身, 大約幾點[目訓]覺, 又講一講我地家中各人的少少習慣, 等等.... 每日我地會比錢佢買[食送], 佢未熟地頭時會親自帶佢去街市和supermarket買. 每日佢買左要mark低o向本簿上d錢買左o麥, 剩下的錢留第2日用 (而家無啦, 已好信任佢啦). 每日打掃, 基本上我無安排過我工人, 佢自發性去做, 因我尊重佢點樣安排自己去做野, 當然唔對路會出聲. 至於湊bb, 佢仲pro過我好多, 我會好細心睇住佢做一排, 有問題會出聲要求佢改.

我請工人其實要求唔係好高, 佢湊掂bb, 打埋屋企妥當就得啦. 當然, 你唔可以下下當人係工人囉, 佢都係人, 日日受住壓力係好辛苦的, 大家都會辛苦. 所以我地一家人都待我工人為家中一份子的.

Now, I'm thinking about the medical insurance of my maid. Which one do you think is better? joining the medical insurance through the maid's agent , bank or your own insurance agent? It seems that the bank package is cheaper as it costs only $700. But, I'm worried that I've got no one to handle the documents if my maid is sick. As to the maid's agent, it costs about $1500 and my own insurance agent costs almost the same.Please give me your advice.
