from the topic of "2nd hand market for good book sharing", noticed that Rachel's taste is similar to Kv woh...... both like Barney, Wiggles. We have got so many DVDs and books.

Buddies,

Commercial Press is offering discount to HSBC card holder, ranges from 50% to 20% off. Some of the books published by 三采文化, like 小學生最好奇的100個問題 etc are 25% off. Also,the Narnia chapter books at 20% off. Have spent a few hundreds yesterday

Kv likes Thomas, Bob the builder, Dora the explorer and Dave too!

We also went to CP yesterday and bought some junior novels and dictionary.

Kv seems starts to like reading Geronimo Stilton. I've got vol 1-4 of GS already. If the bookclub offer good price for this series of books, would you pls help? Thanks in advance!

Kv's summer hols start sooooo early !

Piglet's T2 Exam runs up to 17 June then 2 more days of TSA ==> all exams end on 19 June. But school until 18 July (officially). Summer hols start on Sat 19 July !!:tongue:

But Kv has 9 weeks of summer hols,
vs piglet only has 6 weeks ga ja (cos subtracted 1 week for pre-Easter no-school, otherwise still only 7 weeks ja).

Anyway, we don't have to pay school fees and schoolbus fare for July and Aug. Need to pay for 10 months (Sept - June). (Actually can regard it as paying for all months but divide annual fees by 12 instead of 10.)

I know the school fee of your son's school is now $3.8K. How much will it be for next school year?

btw, I have not received any notice on school fee adjustment from Kv's school yet ....
