Hello Jelly and UK-Riko

My husband and I both doesn’t work in Canary Wharf, we chose to move there because we are not used to living in those Victorian houses around London and prefer the more modern apartment flats close to large shopping mall and tube station!! (more like Hong Kong) :lol: We rented a top floor flat in a Victorian house in North West London when we first got here, but the sound proofing is very bad and our downstair neighbour played very loud music day in day out :-( ……we cannot stand it.

Ching’s nursery is very expensive but we have no other choice as we have no relatives in London to look after her while we work and I don’t want to give up working yet. I did thought about being a full time mum at first but during my maternity leave, I find that I will surely go crazy if I am stuck at home 24/7 with just my baby so I am working part time now, 3 days a week for 2 months then full time for 1 month etc etc. Anyway her nursery cost is £55 per day , it’s slightly higher than the market rate in London, but I find the quality of care there very good and is close to my home and the tube station so very convenient for us. It will be slightly cheaper when she turns 2 years old because the nurse to baby ratio will fall from 1:3 to 1:5 then. So almost my whole salary goes to her nursery but I think it is worth it because I quite enjoy my work and she gets more stimulation from the nursery than at home.

我好懶架, 剩係幫手..食, 所以生完果20lbs肥肉仲未減到. 我記得N年前既結緍註册日, 我99响歺館攪左個Party, 請左佢d親朋戚友黎切餅, 打牌咁. 我老公中途要車d uncle 番屋企, 咁我咪執吓碟同埋洗碗law, 点知一入kitchen就知捉虫....我諗幾曰既碗碟都未洗, 多到好似賣AXE廣告, 不過都要頂硬上, 冇耐唔知セ水入黎, 心諗梗係話 : 新娘子, 仲セ唔出去坐呀??, 点知佢話: 仲セ唔wear 手套 ???果一刻開始, 我話以後都唔好攪我! 再者, 依家我湊2隻都未掂, 同埋鋪頭都好靜, 咁樣我冇咁內疚.
我覺得你manage得好好, 尤其一齊洗菜好sweet. 我都諗吓有咩嘢可以同小娃一齊做, 不過Marcus好反斗, 佢會做好多危險动作, 佢時時擔張凳仔再爬高, 所以好難單獨对住小娃,唉...不過我相信實有辦法既...

yes er, as Riko said the nursey will let them play in the garden during winter time.but the teachers will help them to put on coats. does Liam need to wear uniform? i bought some trousers which has fleece inside for Trevor to wear ga, because playing outside in winter is too cold.

my wound is o.k the redness has gone,just feeling itch and little painful now.Trevor was the person who most concern about me. good boy!! my husband was :tongue:

Trevor starts summer holiday now, he doesn't want to leaves the nursey. :-( he miss the teachers, he doesn't want to go to school! :-( i try to explain to him, he sounds understand what is happening, but he just don't want to.

Where will you have hair cut? I also do not have hair cut often in England cos I can't find a good hair-dresser. I used to go to china town to have hair cut but u know I don't go there often. So I may have it once a year or twice a year. So you can imagine how messy my hair is. Recently I found I have a problem - it is I found I have lots of white hair, I feel so upset!!!!
When u take Liam King to the nursery, do u walk or take transportation? And how long does it take u?

When Trevor starts reception class in school, will it be full day or half day in the beginning? Kiyomi will start reception in January 2006 cos school here accepts summer born children in January instead of September. I am kind of worry about her being full time in school. Is trevor very independent?

Maybe you can ask Valerie to play with Marcus, then you can join in with them. Is it possible? Donovan still cannot crawl or walk, so he can't destroy anything at home, that's why we have peace & quiet when Kiyomi & I are playing. But I also always told kiyomi to play with her little brother & then I join in, too though I have to pretend enjoying myself. It is very hard, u know.
When will your restuarant open? will you help out in your restaurant? :-P

I also don't like those victorian style houses. I prefer modern house. And I also prefer living in house than flat cos the kids can play in the garden & have more space to run around at home.
What are you doing for job? Did you study in England b4? What is your baby's English name? Why did u go to work in England in the first place? (sorry it seems i am a bit 8).

Does the baby sleep at your home at night? My son is also 7 months old like the baby you look after & also my daughter was born in 2001, too. She just turned 4 years old last month. I feel it is quite hard to look after 2 kids, how can u manage? So you are really a super nanny!! Please give me some tips!! :lol:

:lol: 係咁橋！個BB唔响度過夜架。湊朝約7:30-7:00左右5日。BB好鍾意 同我女溝吓就好啦~~~我女唔願 成日叫食，BB佢就唔願食 好彩佢哋玩得埋，但BB懒...佢哋屋企話佢蠢添！但年尾出世係差啲架！學嘢亦慢啲架。
....心得冇乜架~~我會自己諗分配做乜先。BB沖完涼啲慢慢執，不妨礙慢慢做。佢哋 下午 我做家務唔想郁就上網。總之唔可以大執拾、清潔。是但一個醒做開又污糟又亂唔得架！押到夜啲或假期多個人幫吓睇住先做。可能好彩湊呢個較好湊呱 ？？

Trevor starts part time for the first 2 weeks, then the 3rd week, he will has lunch at school.but he finish school straight after lunch.then starts full time at the 4th week~finish at 3 o'clock.sounds exciting and worries,isn't it? Normally, he is very indenpent boy, but i don't know how he will react in a new enviorment and new people.

i also like go to "bluewater" shopping, it takes us about 45 min. by car.(if no traffic jam) but i have to go with my husband cos i don't know how to go by public transport.
