Piglet also went to play with a friend that day.
Was watching "Transformers" when No. 8 was hoisted.
I left WC ~5pm to avoid the crowds, took a tunnel bus to Olympian City, had dinner in Olympian City and played till 10pm at that friend's home. No rain, no wind all that time !

LSW and TTM,

Your parcel arrived last Thurs / Fri, but big pig was out all the time these few days, and I forgot to let you all know.

So it is ready for collection la.
Big pig will be around tomorrow afternoon, if you want to collect from TCS.

TTM/blue*,

I went to CWB to pick Kv up from office (as he had to attend eng class) after typhoon signal No.8 was hoisted.

Then we went to 板前寿司 to enjoy the yum yum sushi. This was the first time that we didn't need to queue up there.... :mrgreen:

Actually Kv also wanted to go to Toysrus and Sogo, but they're all closed!! :cry: So we went to HMV and bought some Doraemon dvd.

We went home at around 6pm. No more crowds and the traffic was good at that time!

I would guess, some are 货尾（normally会印多少少）or有瑕疵, should be real.

TTM,

you are right... I'm the one mixed with the crowd at Central MTR station last Friday. Actually I left my office after 4 pm. The crowd of people are waiting for the Tsuen Wan line leaving just one 1 line out of 12 lines for the HK Island people to move from Exit J (Black Man Statue) to Island Line. I have learnt a lesson that next time instead of getting in at Exit J, I'll get in via Alexandra house.

Will Kv contintue to attend the Eng class at CWB in Sep ? I have enrolled Rachel to the class.

Buddies,

any recommendation of part-time local helpers for cleaning, tidying-up or even cooking at HK side (North Point). My maid needs to go back.

Yes, kv will continue to join the eng class. He will join P3 class from Sep onwards.

i am also influence at the MTR. when i arrived Prince Edward, the platform was no more space for the extra persons. i am very difficult to stand there. After a while, i think i need to leave there asap. As Prince Edward is a changing terminal, all the people must change the train there. So i took the next MTR to YauMaTei and back to Tsuen Wan's line. At least i can got a space to stand. Really like a mess.

When i went back home and want to visit the supermarket to buy something for that night at least. OH NO. everythings (fresh veg. fish, meat) was no more, really like the big war will come soon.

MTR buddies,

Next time, consider leaving your office 2+ hrs later,
or go to some shopping mall and shop / eat for 2+ hrs,
before you go down to MTR.

No fun in joining the MTR / tunnel bus / bus sardines.

LSW,

You can consider stocking up on :
Canned corn / tuna / soup, luncheon meat / ham, spaghetti.
During this time of the year, you need some stock at home. Can never be as quick as housewives / maids.

Luncheon meat??

I am afraid my 2 monsters would have yelled for it and eaten it before any typhoon comes.

I was fortunate last Friday. I got a free ride by my colleague. I went to Bakery to buy fresh bread and cake. At the end, bought $80. Already a huge bag. No need to starve.

Traffic accident in Sai Kung this morning, road blocked, no public transport. Jun's BoMo bus driver was so kind to give me a lift via the Ma On Shan route and back to Choi Hung MTR station, really appreciated!
