Sa,
You are right, the new school is on the same street. Very near!
Yet, she is only trying since we have not made up our mind on which school to be chosen.?-( This is really a headache, I think the teachers of the former kinder is more caring, but 小一派位 & environment of the new school are better!

Then you will have uncertain and pressure like me lor.
I've talked with some friends, and their children is in P1 or K3 already. Their advise is how I want my child to be and which primary I prefer.
I think their views are good. Cos' 1 mother is: give the child what is lack. The other is: give the child what they are good of. But both not "academic" course till K3 lor.
I'm more "relax" in some sense, and will continue the Singing/Dancing course with Audrey, course that's probably what she likes. And the course is in Eng
Today is my 1st time to send and pick up Audrey to school. I'm very tired. And today is still 1/2 class, ie 15 children in one class, tomorrow will be whole class together, 30 students. I think that's the teacher challenge rather than the child.
I think that also depends what u want your child to be:
1) happy schooling in KG, primary
2) happy schooling in KG, primary a little bit more work
3) happy schooling in KG1, KG2 onwards a littte bit more work
etc
Then you have many ways to counter it as well;
1) learn things outside before school teach
2) trust school the syllabus/homework is enough
etc
Correct me if I'm wrong, I only heard that Kentville syllabus is difficult, even SH, it's not that "harsh".
Alice
