Oil suggests that I share the info on my firstborn here. Based on my birthday and egg day, my daughter was conceived on a day where both the red and the blue curves were above the horizontal line with the top of the curves overlapping. According to the book, the baby was supposed to be a boy! So beware if you want to try on such a day! Good luck everyone!
The most recent month I may have a chance to have a boy in the coming 6 months is Dec. which the red and blue lines are over the horizontal line with the peak overlapping. So I am thinking to try in Dec. But you told us that your daughter was conceived in this kind of curve. what should I do la?
I was reading previous postings and saw that a lot of BK sisters were taking body temperature but do not seem to know how to interpret the results. The easiest thing to check when your "egg day" is is to plot your temperatures on a graph. You can either do one on Excel or print one out from websites. What you do is:
1. One chart for each cycle, starting with the 1st day of M as Day 1. Plot temp of each day on the chart.
2. different people have different ranges of temp, that is why you compare the temp of one cycle instead of between diff cycles or with other people.
3. On the day your temp rises more than 0.2 degree above the highest temp in the previous days, that's your ovulation day. Draw a horizontal line across the highest temp BEFORE the rise. That is, if during the first 15 days you had temp ranging from 97.1 - 97.5 (not necessarily a constant upward trend, could be 97.5 on D6 back to 97.3 on D7 etc), and on D16 your temp was 98, draw a line across 97.5, this is your base line. D16 is your egg day for that cycle.
4. When you temp drops below the baseline again, you will have M on that day or a day after (very accurate). Start another chart for the next cycle.
5. However, if your temp continues to be above the base line for more than 18 days, you can try pregnancy test, unless your cycle tends to be long, in which case, when the total no. of days exceeds your longest cycle, test.
6. This is all due to hormones and how they change your body temp. When you are pregnant, temp stays high. The benefit of testing is that for some people, the problem is not being unable to get preg, but to keep the baby. For a long cycle, it could be because you were pregnant but lost the baby due to some problems with the embryo (nature's way of ensuring you get healthy babies).
7. Once you have charted a few cycles, you can generally see when your egg day is, and use that as a guide to use ClearPlan sticks.
It's very important to draw the baseline because that is what you use to compare temp. It's also important to take temp first thing in the mroning before you do anything, including stretching or kissing your husband!

Looks like you haven't ovulated yet, based on your low temp. If your cycle is usually 32 days, egg day could be D18 to D22. You just need to continue testing (and doing ). Good luck!
