Each 5ml contains : Ketotifen (as fumarate) 1mg

請問可否長服, 定係你哋講個隻藥啱我D呢!!
Ans.: Yes, 2~3 months OK, 可以食藥丸, Zaditen(Ketotifen) 1 mg. Zaditen比較平D.

因其實早兩年我都試過咁, 睇咗六個醫生, 半年都唔好!! 結果長期睇一個中醫一個月先好返!!

My daughter eat above medicine have little bit improve , at least only few sounds cough I accept.
But still more palgem. Just wonder what kind of the above medicine, because in the front page of bottle only write down chinese word is for cough and nose.

Please advise how your child eat "善古靈" 呢隻藥? My doctor has recently given this medicine for my daughter (2 yrs old). Since this is in powder form and cannot mix with water, I need to buy banana to mix with the powder. Is there any other way to eat? I don't know why this medicine cannot mix with water because after she has taken the medicine, I will give her water right away.

dr yonex,
my son is wheezing & his doc gave him Terbuline & an inhaler Ventolin... could u give me some advices:
1) do any of them contains steriod?
2) can they be used together? or should i use either one & not both at the same time? (my son's ped is off on holiday... so i can ask him that at the moment...)

Ans.: U may try Singulair chewable tablet 4mg next time, Cherry-flavor. For the powder, put it in some semi-solid food to "eat", eg. ice-cream, cereal, thick soup or congee.
I don't know why this medicine cannot mix with water because after she has taken the medicine, I will give her water right away.
Ans.: Agree. But it's the recommendation from the pharmaceutical company,ie, MSD. They do not have detail explanation.

Ans: Both are Brochodilators, in the same group. No steroid in them.
2) can they be used together?
Ans.: No.
or should i use either one & not both at the same time?
Ans.: Either one.

My daughter take the above medicine. Her symptoms are a little bit improved , there's only a few cough episodes that I would accept.
But there's still much phlegm. I would like to know more about the above medicine. However, on the front of the bottles it's only written in chinese words, "for cough and nose".

我囝囝就來6歲, 他喉嚨時常都話唔舒服, 又好似氣管敏感, 日日時時刻刻都發出聲音由喉嚨出來, 我聽到個心都好唔舒服呀? 咁可否買"善古寧"俾我囝囝食, 要否先睇左E生先呢?咁可否介紹比我呀?(最好在黃大仙或鑽石山). 此情形巳經好幾個月了?謝謝!

我個女4歲, 咳左2個月,共睇左5次醫生, 起初只是喉嚨發炎,後來就變左咳, 仲有好多痰, 每朝起床時特別咳, 醫生話佢氣管敏感,開左d氣管藥及止咳藥,及食左3個星期善古寧都仍然咳, 上星期仲流鼻黃鼻涕及發燒, 醫生最終開左抗生素佢食, 食埋今日就食晒, 但佢今日都仍然有小小清鼻水及仲有痰咳, 請問是否仍須睇醫生或換醫生, 見到個女瘦左好多,冇晒胃口食野,好擔心.....唔知應該點做.... :cry:

Hi, I think the dr has been helping her. At least she has less yellowish nose-discharge. Go back to see him again. Maybe she needs a longer course of antibiotics, total of 6 days or so.

我個囡都係由舊年 11月, 咳到依家, 又中醫又西醫.
星期六帶左個囡去左睇 Dr. IP, 佢真係好掂, 其實我十幾年前都係睇開佢, 食左兩日藥, 好左好多, 佢都係叫我買"善古靈"比呀囡食, 要食三個月.
