I guess the choices in Lane Crawford & Seibu are great... can u find anything there? like BCBG, the price is okay wor...

I once made an evening gown at Sogo Club - the shop called Matador for my sister's wedding... they got a shop in Central... but the price is a bit higher than $3,000... u can take a look if u are interested...

I guess being a good husband is not just giving surprises to his wife... if he is a caring & loving husband to u, he will do other things to make u happy & warm ga la... no need to feel upset about "no surprises"... we can always buy handbags to ourselves... tell u the truth, if your hubby chooses u handbag, u will 99% don't like it as their taste might be different from ours! haa haa

I guess i won't go to Japan until 2008 CNY as i have to wait for my daughter to grow up more before bringing her to Japan with me... i will feel so guilty to travel without her...

Matador is at Sogo Club, above the bookstore ar... they only have a small shop at Sogo Club, if u want to see more choices, u can go to their Central shop... however, those are made to measure evening gown, might take couple of months to make ga...

Exactly the same situation here!!! Well, my husband now only makes sure that I really love the exact model, color and size of those handbag, watch or jewellery ...., he will get it "secretly" for me. Otherwise, he said it's too adventurous. Because almost more than 90% of what he chose was not my cup of tea...

The reasons why I bought my handbags or accessories from USA are: 1. no such items in HK, 2. it's already out of stock.
Like, the dark silver reissue, black leather babycabas, black timeless caviar clutch. They're all not available in HK Chanel store. Otherwise, I prefer to buy in HK la!
I also won't buy anything from Milan or France station, I would only sell things like most of you do.
I prefer to buy either from Chanel or US.

I also know that there's a lot of stock of patent cococabs in Japan, because it's not that popular according to my SA in HK Chanel. But I can tell the price is higher wor.

I did that in Feb this year. My daughter adopted quite well both on the plane and in Japan.

Yes, I will definitely feel guilty if travel w/o her.

But I didn't have much time to browse freely with her. This point you have to bear in mind (even though I have invited my brother to come with us).

Just now I walked pass "xx station" at lunch and saw the gold color 2.55 reissue... the price is $25,800...

so expensive... your handbag from the States is really a great buy! i am really tempted to call up your U.S. sales and ask for the 2.55 bag... hee hee

My daughter cannot sit still in a place include lunch & dinner time, i can't imagine how to bring her on plane and she can stay still there... I haven't traveled since my daughter is borned... I must go somewhere soon with her or else i will be bored to death in HK...

hahaha, it was my 1st trip after I knew I would have a baby (I knew it @ ~ 2weeks)....and you could imagine how long I haven't been out of town la........

We are planning to bring her to ski this year.....but this time won't be to Europe.....maybe USA.....basically I don't quite like US.....Europe is more cultural and romantic......

Have you consider buying a " Chong Sam" from Shanghai Tang???
I think it's more appropreiate since it's your brother's wedding... and it's really classy.
I think for us, Asians, a nice " Chong Sam' beats Chanel... becuase we ( normally) don't have the perfect figure for night dress... but our figure is just perfect for " Chong Sam"
try it.... you will notice the difference... it's not " lo tow" ... instead, very elegant and match your " sister" role....

wow... what a sweet hubby you have... many congrads....

i've known my husband since I was 12... No more romance at this point.. only caring for each other and almost feels like brother and sister....

He basically won't do anything like that becuase everything he bought .. I had to go back to return it... and as he always said, things i want... I would have bought it already.... so... I guess, I've always killed all the romance....
