I am not very sure whether the method can really cure white hair, but my mother claims it works for her. She did say that it will make her hair dense as well. She has a lot of hair while I and B Ching has very little hair. I think she said you can use any kind of spirit but brandy is the best. Just use a little bit and rub it on the top (“turn”) of your head.

I had wanted to go to Canada Square mall last Sat as well because I wanted to bring B Ching to the Harry Potter event but we ended up going into China town because my husband wanted to eat some “open stomach” food and doesn’t want western food! :tongue: Troublesome men!

I also like to go to Zizzi because the food is good and the restaurant is very baby friendly. We usually go to Seewoo on Sat and go into central London on Sun because parking is free on Sunday. If you see a petite women trying frantically to sing, talk, to a baby girl to stop her from screaming while shopping, that’s me.

And the hair salon I go to is call Moga. They have a website http://www.moga.ltd.uk/ which shows all the stylist and price.

We intend to go back to HK eventually as we find that we can hardly save any money here because of the high childcare cost and high tax rate.
:-( I also worry about B Ching’s integration back into HK’s education system but luckily she is still very young and we still have a few years to play around.

I actually quite like the lifestyle here as it is less hectic and there’s more work-life balance. E.g. I can never imagine any employer hiring me as a part time worker in HK. But then all my family is back in HK and I really want to have them around especially for B Ching. Anyhow, you can’t have it all!

We went back to HK last Nov and my husband and I left B Ching in my parent’s care and went to Macau for a mini break, that was really good. We are intending to visit HK again this Dec and was thinking of going to Taiwan for another mini break, what do you think?

B Ching is the same as Lucas!! I think it’s the terrible twos! B Ching now wants to do everything herself even though she still can’t manage it. E.g. she wants to put on her shoes but can’t even get her feet to fit into the shoe! And she will scream (BABY’S TURN x 100) if me or my husband try to help her!

She also doesn’t let me hold her hand when she is walking but she will cling to me if she feels insecure. I can go on and on but will spare you.

Anyway I tried to do what Gloriap says as I am also a big fan of supernanny, but it’s hard to keep it up when I am tired and short-fused especially during M time. And my husband is not helping as he always just take the easy way out and give in !!!

唔揸車接送Kiyomi返學, because my husband drives the car to work lor & I can't afford to buy a car, pay the petrol, pay MOT, road tax, car insurance etc. So I have to use 'my feet' lor.

Since I know Valerie was born in Aug, can I ask u something? Do u think summer born children learn slowly than winter born children in the same class? That is my friend said to me. This is because for a child who was born in september was actually nearly a year older than a child born in Aug. So summer born children are younger, so they know less when they start school. Do u know what I mean? Kiyomi was born in June & she is not those 'smart type', so I am quite worried about her in school ga. Have u ever thought of this problem about Valerie?

thank you for telling us, i got lots of white hair, i think i take it after my mum as she got white hair since she was very young.

we have Zizzi restaurant in our town, buy i've never been there before. however, after reading your message to Jelly, i want to try as you said it is baby frinendly and the food is good. what dish do you recommend?

今朝daddy 同孖女去 toilet 刷牙、洗面，但大孖話要小便，咁就同大孖去 toilet 先，細孖跟在後面，唔知點解細孖就碌咗落樓梯啦。

我明你既意思, 唔駛擔心, 我唔會誤會你話我個女蠢喎, Haha! 点講呢, 佢响HK讀書時得3歲, 我覺得佢既集中力冇其他小朋友咁好, 老師話佢上堂時有時會遊阜. 同埋會冇咁主動. 黎左呢度, 就好難比較, 因為佢d英文仲未好叻, 不過佢啱啱攞左school report, 老師就寫得好好, 話佢catch up 得好快 ( 不過你知呢庶d人好encouraging, supportive and, positive架啦), 不過我就唔係好擔心學術上既嘢, ( 我時時覺得d鬼仔鬼妹仲slow thinking), 我只係concern 响學校冇人同佢玩, 所以我日日都問佢食完lunch同邊個玩. 你唔駛擔心kiyomi, 佢掂架啦, 不過小娃返左學就洩左好多.
