Actually "I don't think" 蕃茄仔 has much of a problem on his eating habit. The only thing is when I found him having trouble taking his congee, I will give him some fruit to take with then he will quickly finish the bowl.
Am I right to do so? ?-( I'm afraid of him getting used to this eating habit even though some of the congee receipe have fruit ingredients. What is your suggestions
My concern of fruits in dishes is only because I don't prefer fruits to be "heated"....Cooking destroys vitamins and thus only fibres and sweetness is remain in the fruits.
Thus if you are just mixing congee with fruits, it is of course no problem because it is not heated for long.
However, be aware of the qanntity being feed in a day. Fruits for babies age 1-3 should be around 1 fruit only. (fruit in the size of an normal orange) Eating too much fruits resulted in too much sugars and affect the normal appetite for protein food.
