how is little twin? i know how you feel~you must be heart broken. :-( last night, i was holding Irene in a sofa,she lost her temper. she thrown her body left and right, up and down, then end up she hurt herself.she bumped herself into a coffee table, her lips were bleeding badly. my husband was like end of the world,and

thank you for you information. i talked to Twingirls before about our kids's hki.d , and we don't think our kids are qualify to apply for HKid card.i think this is very unfair as we (both mum and dad)are holding 3 star HKid card,and our kids cannot apply for hk resident,however, those big6 people,always mum is not hk resident, but their kids can apply for HK resident.

anyway, did you get a HKSAR for Portman? are you planing to go back for a holiday? thanks for your help again.

Your hubby must be very hardworking, I used to work OT when I first came but all my colleagues are very “punctual” in logging off so I also follow...hehehe.

But I do believe it depends on the firm’s culture. My hubby and I are quite lucky to have found employers who are very family oriented. Since u miss HK, do u intend to go back soon?

When are u going to Moga? I am very cheap, I wait until I cannot stand my messy hair or if some friends are coming for a visit or we are going out to see people before I go because I find cutting hair in London is not value for money!

I have never been to Yi-ban, is it good? We like Peninsula the most and Royal China is for “eating the renovation” and convenience. I have also been looking for swimming pool to take B Ching to, I think there’s one in the Isle of dogs but haven’t checked it out yet, heard the ones in Greenwich are quite good, maybe in August when I work 3 days, we can go and check it out?

We also go to Bluewater sometimes, but this weekend we are going to Harrods for its last day of sale

and then there’s a children’s event at Somerset house.

We usually go for the pizza which are very good and there’s a pasta dish with smoke salmon which I like and the crayfish salad. They have a kids menu with smaller portion of pasta.

B Ching is also very 佰厭! I find that she is more naughty when she goes to the nursery, I think she picks up lots of naughty habits there. She is more well-behaved for the months I work part time. One day she got scratched in the face by another toddler and a few weeks later she bit another toddler on the face!!

My husband is supposed to speak to B Ching in Cantonese and I speak to her in English but he is very lazy and always speak to her in English, so she is now better in English. I will try to expose her more to Chinese. I am also quite worried that B Ching might not be able to get into a good kindergarten if we come back to HK in the middle of term time, and I don’t want her to go to international school, too expensive and I think Chinese is important, but we will just have to wait and see.

For the mini-break, I want to go somewhere near, just for 1 or 2 days and somewhere with lots of cheap, yummy food ‘cos my husband and I are very greedy…..that’s why we thought of Taiwan.

Don’t worry too much about Portman, thrush is very common in babies, are u breastfeeding? If u are, u may need to apply the cream on your nipple as well to prevent re-infection. Did the HV refer u to the GP?
B Ching is holding a British passport, my husband applied for her. But we are thinking of applying for a SAR passport for her from here before we go back so she can be entitled to HK ID card when we move back. Do you know how to go about doing that? I am getting around £17 a week of child benefit and we didn’t bother with the tax credit because we checked on the website and it assessed that we will only be entitled to £90 per year of something ridiculously low……
On the other hand my husband knew a friend who helped him claim back over £1000 of UK tax from Inland Revenue because my husband was transferred to the UK office on secondment and thus can pay lower tax or something like that, not sure about the details……if your hubby is on secondment it might be worth checking this out…
