Karen kw is my friend and we are actually neighbours. I have shared this site with her and that is why she is also a new member now. We stay in Sg Buloh area. Not sure where is Keramat but i believe it is quite far because it is in Ampany area. Do you drive and how long you have been here?

I believe our group of HK mami are 'older' in terms of time in Malaysia and some of us even have grown-up kids (as big as 14 years old!).

How often do you have gathering? Are you working? I work for HP here and my office is in bukit damansara.

wa....14yrs old ,,,,our group can called "new" compare with urs.cos the oldest kid in our group is around 6-7 yrs old only.most of our kid is "baby",Chris just gave birth,her son born in 6/6.my gal born in 18/12 last year.the other mami got 1 or 2 kids around 1-2 yrs old.

I have been here since 2003 Aug,soon will be 5 yrs ...I can't drive cos I'm a "方向白痴",always lose my way even in HK...so I dare not drive.It made me seldom go out too...especially now i have my gal,she is very naughty

actually we r not always having big gathering... cos I live far from them(most of them live near Damansara or Bukit Jali),and some of them very busy,quite hard to find one day all of us available.. As I know few of them got small group gathering in 1 u or Hartama( 2-3 ppl),and me,wendy,Chris,Iris(she didn't join BK) also have small group gathering b4(now Chris needs rest ,so we stop gathering,hehe)I usually meet them in KLCC/Mid valley which is not that far from my home.

Malaysia not allow foreign wife find job here,so all of us r full time housewife,but I work for a comic company as script writer and newspaper columnist b4 pregnant(work as freelancer ,so no need to worry the law,hehe)

why u can find a job here?because u already got their PR?

I was told that we might be relocating to KL around end of Aug or Sept. Hope to meet some HK mommys there? I am a mommy of a 22mths old daugther. Any maid agency recomand? And how to you transport in KL? By taxi or rent a car?

hihi,can't believe so many hk mami here,hehe

I can't drive,so when i go out,I ened to wait for my husband day off and drive me out,or other hk mami fetch me
It's dangerous and not easy to go out by taxi when I need to bring my baby gal out with me(she is 7mths now)

hello, Your baby is very cute (from your post photo),have you started to try any home make food for her?. Is it easy to buy fresh food there? Did you go any wet market there or just supermarket? We haven't look for a apartment yet? Any suggestion for service apartment?

Thx,my gal is very naughty buy she always smiles,haha

yes I made some pumpkin /banana/papaya mud to her and some vegetable too,now she can eat porridge now and eat a lot,hoho(but she is not fat enough....Dr asked me gave her more porridge )

I only go to supermarket to buy food,but I know here got some wet market(quite big)..I don;t want to go to wet market cos it is not that easy if I go with my gal....

some supermarket got fresh fish/crab to buy,like Cheras Jusco.

I'm not familiar with service apartment...where u decide to live?I mean which area?Most of the HK mami live near kepong,damansara,r u the one going to buy house near them??or u will chosoe the one near me??hahahhaa

I only know those service apartment near KLCC r great,got good security and service,but the price is high lor of course....

I like baby more active and cheerful who always like to smiles. My gal also the same when she is very young. always laugh and like to move around when she is capable to do so. She learn how to run before craw, haha.a.. Till now she is also run around with laughing face. she made my life light up with cheers. Talking about baby weight,what brand your gal milk formula or you breast feed her? Have you tried mash potato with baby cheese and milk formula?

We are not sure which area to move to, but i heard that my husband office will be the area of subang. Is that far away from KL??? I am worry that it is too far away from town, how am i going to get out for buying food like this for my baby and schooling.

I don;t know much about Subang cos it's far from my home,haha
But don't worry cos Subang got a lot of supermarket too,I know one of the hk mami from our group also live in Subang,maybe u can ask her for detail(but I haven;t meet her yet,just heard her things from other mami)

Subang ,alittle far from KL city center la as I know...but other thing...I really not sure...sorry that I can't give u answer

Hello,

Just read your mail recently cos busy to take care my boy who is now15 mths . I am living in kepong area, how long are you going to stay in KL. I seldom go to wet market aswell, I hve been there before but I can't stand the hot weather and most of them are only open for half day, I prefer to hypermarket.
