Heather,
Good to see this thread. I am a native cantonese speaker, but do speak some mandarin. Pardon me for typing in eng because my chinese writing pad is out of order. Perhaps I should really learn how to type in chinese. Which method should I learn?
My son is 2 yrs & 9 mths old. He is studying in Kiangsu & Chekiang prenursery. Since he doesn't speak any cantonese, we will switch him out to a local school in this Sep. But I like to let him continue learning mandarin. So if we can organize some regular activities for children in mandarin, I like to join too.
I don't know which illness u have, but I wish u well.
Cutie4gal & AucklandAmy,
Good to see u around here! We do share something in common!
Thanks. I am a full time mum. My time is pretty flexible. I think it will be fun to get our children together. I can join on 1/26. Wish we can organize something!
Hi Heather,
Thanks for your reply. I'm a full time mother too. So, time & date are flexible to me. I live in Tsuen Wan. It will be great if gathering can be organized somewhere near Tsuen Wan but not sure where you and the others live in.
Hi Heather,
Both suggestions are great. I haven't brought my son there before. But I prefer Kowloon more because I am only be available in the afternoon if the date is scheduled on Jan 25 (Sun) and it takes me less time to go to Kowloon. See if other mums have comments.
Hi Heather,
My son is coming to be 1.5 yrs old. His father talks to him daily in Mandarin. Mandarin is not my mother tongue though i can speak (not very fluent, HK Mandarin only). I picked up Mandarin since i worked with some mainland Chinese years ago.
