but i guess if ur husband is an old boy of La Salle primary, u don't need to go to the central allocation stage as ur bay will at least ve 20 pts (10 from father being an old boy, 10 from admission at the right age). plus the 5 pts he will get if he's a Catholic. 25 pts will be quite safe at the discretionary places admission stage which accounts for 50% of spaces. (see http://www.edb.gov.hk/FileManager/EN/Content_1511/emb-lft-e07.pdf, p.3) [remember, the boy will get this 10 pts only if the father is the graduate of the primary school. if he studied in the secondary session only, then this 10 pts will not be granted. i ve friends committed this mistake before]
even if ur baby needs to go to the central allocation stage, living in school net 41 will ve much higher chances as among the remaining 50% places, 90% will be allocated to the kids of that school net.
