So do I as I think the function of a 防潮櫃, if function properly, is to remove the moisture in the cupboard. However, I wonder should, once it is not functioning, the moisture in the dehumidifying agent it is using be released back to the cupboard nei ?? If yes, it is the reason for the moisture found inside the board when it is out of power for long lor ~~

防潮櫃 is not as closely sealed as 防潮箱, if the former is not plugged.......the incident happened when our friend was not in HK for a full year.......his wife went to give me accompany for a whole 3 months........supposed that she had 熄了總制.......as such, the moisture went into the 防潮櫃 lor...........remember : 防潮櫃 is not designed to be used as perfect as a 防潮箱.......when unplugged............for 3 months............his 十x萬器材 have gone with the moisture.....發哂'毛'.......

It happened when our friend was not in HK for a whole year.......and his wife went to give him accompany for whoel 3 months.......maybe she has switched off all electronic applicances before she left home..............AND 防潮箱 is not designed to use alone (unplugged).......it is not as perfectly sealed as a 防潮箱..............his 十x萬器材 have gone ~~
