I just find a new bun and her visa would expire the day after tomorrow and her air ticket is tomorrow.

Is there anything I can do to retain her in Hong Kong instead of let her to go back to Philippines.

Hi, Ingridmosa, I have just hired a bun bun who are terminated by her existing employer. She agreed to sumbit the documents to Philippines Consulates and HK Immigration Dept. Please advise the visa should be pick up by bun bun or me. As she should return to Philippines and the Visa would be issued after 3-4 weeks. Thank for your help.

I let my maid to pick up the visa lalone. It's just a label to stick on her passport. She will pay the visa fee first and then you pay back to her.

Thanks for your prompt reply! As I am the new employer of bun bun, please kindly help to confirm the dates and procedures.

My new bun bun will go to Philippine Consulate on 2/9. She will be terminated on 8/9, would she need to go to HK Immigration to submit the application form on 8/9 (Sat) or 10/9(Mon)?

She has worked with her current employer for 4 months only, therefore she has not take any leave before. Usually, how long does she need to stay at Philippines? Can I request her return to HK on a fixed date, such as 10/10?

My case is different from yours cos' my maid was finished her contract not terminated by the ex-employer.

I would suggest you to call the hotline of the HK Immigration at 2824 6111
