Hmmmm, sorry to write english again as I am now at home.
I have no authority to say so as I have no problem in studying in local school as I did. But my C6 is the failure product of local education. He studied more than 6 secondary schools in total (both HK and US). He could not fit into the HK education system as the school will force you to promote to the next level no matter you have problem with one of the subjects or not. For international school, they use different kind of education system. For example, if the school is US base, they count each single subject. If you fail one subject, you can get promoted for other subjects but not the failed one. You can take and re-take until you can manage it and its common. The international school can accommodate more active children and will not label them as "naughty" as most of the local schools did. Of course, choose carefully among the international schools are important, too.
Different basis of the international school, e.g. Singapore, US, German & Swiss and Canada will have different education system to match with their home country.
I dont think we should discuss some extreme cases now.. we still have to fine tune the "road" we prepare for our babies.. depends on their own interest.
personally, we will not let baby-dino go into internationally school.. because we both dont like the "style" of those kids.
