Therefore, I won't 大大 outside , esp in those shopping centres........... I 大大 in the morning before I go out!

I think it is too dirty .........as some poo poo stick on your skin around your pat pat (if you don't wash it......)

if it is a must, I will use wet tissue.....

in this part (衛生 =>inside, not outside), chinese is even poorer than some of undevrloped countries. However, they (chinese) always think they are more 衛生 than others!!!

As 衛生inside對我係好重要, I require my yan yan to wash her pat pat everytime.........
I don't allow her to take care of my kids if she is so dirty on her skin (with some poo poo stick on her skin around her pat pat).....................

I think the very main point is, after using water to wash her pat pat, how she dry it? Moreover, if the stool is not solid enough when it comes out, the pat pat will be sticked with those..... you know. I really concern that, with a bottle of water, without the water pressure how can those sticky stool come off?

Using water to clean after poo-poo is good, but only using water is not sufficient. I myself at home, will use tissue to clean for the first 2 times, then wet another piece of clean tissue to wipe as the last step. It only can be done in a private toilet with tap inside; no way to be done in office building or in shopping mall.

So, the very main problem is, is she using her hand to clean the stool directly, serve with water? As, the employer here claimed that she is not using any tissue, at all.

not only the developed countries in europe, those undeveloped countries in asia are also accept this 欧洲文化 now.
It is very sad that: people in hk are still in the same level as some undeveloped countries in africa - they use clean dry leafs to clean their pat pat while hk people use dry tissue .........
And the differenc is that: hk people think that using dry tissue is 卫生 while washing is not !
However, I think 20 years later (out kids become mothers/fathers, this culture will change ..........all of them will think that it is very very very dirty if using dry tissue to clean pat pat only!)

I don't know how their yan yan dry it! But I am sure she will dry it before dress her clothes, right? ( in indo, they are using handkerchief)
In the case of => if the stool is not solid enough when it comes out, the pat pat will be sticked with those.
When she dry it, most of them will be removed! It is still more clean than using dry tissue directly, right?

1 more point is that=> So, the very main problem is, is she using her hand to clean the stool directly, serve with water? As, the employer here claimed that she is not using any tissue, at all.
If she use tissue, when she take bath everyday, she will also use her hand to clean those dry poo poo stick around her pat pat hardly, right? (everyone will do that) Then, the result is the same=> her hand touch the poo poo!
So, the main point is that => teach her how to clean her hands, ( they should not request their yan yan not to wash her pat pat!! )

I've never said that cleaning with only tissue is more hygiene and clean than with water.

Well... when taking a bath, we touch our parts but not directly touching the big amount of stools. As we do not have the water splash at home, I think tissue is an acceptable media to clean up the remains of the stools, then clean pat pat with water and dry it up with tissue.

I know the concern of the Hong Kong employers here. As my helper, not a Yan-yan, told me that the towel cleans the toilet bowl is fine enough to clean the kitchen table and everywhere in the house before I found it out one day. She said that she already wash with soap each time so it must be cleaned, she claimed that it is very cleaned and no dirt or germs are being transferred. I was shocked with this. She is an University graduated and she is not living in a rural area in Philippines.

To adjust a Yan-yan's hygiene standard is more difficult, maybe you are lucky enough, never encounter these kind of ladies.

Teaching the Yan-yan to clean her hands thoroughly after washing her pat-pat. I feel quite disgusting to imagine her hands with the remains of stools, touch the knob of the tap, touch the pump of the liquid soap .... and around the tap & the basin are our tooth brushes and other stuff. Don't tell me to remove these things from the tap, our house is very very small. Your example on talking about taking a bath, in my own thinking, bathing time is long enough to wash out all those dirt away from her body, but have her to clean her hands under the tap in an acceptable way is more difficult.

"Wash your hands before you go in the kitchen to prepare food." Such a simple request, a lot of Yan-yan always forget. So, when she is shutting herself inside the toilet, how can we be sure she has cleaned her hands so thoroughly as requested? I wonder.

**Finally, I have to reiterate that I agreed that washing pat-pat after poo poo is more clean than just using dry tissue. Don't mistaken that I am against your thought.

其實一直冇人否定用水去清潔係比較衛生哩個理論, 但問題係當你屋企冇哩種配套設施去俾個工人用水洗, 你會期望佢係點做事後清潔呢? 完事後喺浴缸或淋浴室清洗? 定係咁二喺洗手盤攞啲水清洗(我想像唔到點洗, 唔知多唔多人喺洗手盤洗面),會唔會用梘液清洗? 定只係用清水洗? 事後對手又會唔會再用梘液清潔呢? 哩啲全部僱主係唔會知, 難道真係要逐個step叫佢示範俾你睇? 哩個就係僱主所擔心o既問題, 邊個可以確保佢o既事後清潔做得好好? 當屋企冇哩啲配套設施o既話, 哩啲擔心係可以理解個喎! 再講, 我冇諗過工人廁所要裝可以洗埋pat pat o既廁具俾工人!

no, they usually have 2 towels, one for cleaning face (and hands), one for cleaning pat pat!

其實佢話係淋浴地方用SHOWER　ＧＥＬ清洗ＰＥＴ　ＰＥＴ，不過我已經要佢用ＴＩＳＳＵＥ先，希望佢明白，因為佢好想留係度做，和佢其實都幾好，ＣＬＥＡＮＩＮＧ　ＡＮＤ　煮飯　ＡＮＤ　主動性做野都幾好，只係ＰＥＴ　ＰＥＴ　個問題，　所以我希望佢會改

不過你所講o既設備喺香港真係唔算太普遍, 你o既理論同理念係好啱, 用水清潔得乾淨同環保(可以用小咗廁紙), 但只係未喺香港太普及!

Of course yes. Usually will use baby wipe to clean, the wipe is already wet. However, when sometimes the poo poo is very big amount and sticky, we will use facial tissue to remove some poo poo first, then use wet wipe to clean.

It is because I have a bad experience!
For the first time I 懷孕, I got a disease ...... the doctor said that when being 懷孕, the body is weeker. A high % (compare with the whole world) of 懷孕 woman get this disease in HK. It is more easier to have virus around if you haven't got the habit of washing pat pat ..........

And finally, I lost my baby after 懷孕 for a few months.

I see!! It seems that my requirement is too high......
I require her to wash my baby's pat pat every time when change dipper for her........(use tissue to clean first if have boo boo)
I ......suddenly think........ how can I make sure she wash her hands (clean enough) and then feed my baby.......

Sorry to hear that.

The direction when wiping off the poo poo is also very important. Sometimes when I am using the public toilets, I will get a small pile of tissue wetted before going inside the room, for cleaning the pat pat as the final procedure, too.
