I am a home base travel agent. I really take up calls and reply emails at home. What I do is selling air ticket, hotel and packages.
First of all, you need to have your own clients coz only they will bring you profit.
Second, you need to be very familiar in the field.
Third, you could stand lonely and independent working, most important multi-tasking as even I need to go to bank in and post office.
I have a travel license (own company), all colleagues are home base as my small office only $1300 rent in TST, 100 sq ft and no one goes back (only a stock room). I saved up bills in office like telephone, electricity, stationary and broadband. Then make staff salary higher = share more commission to them.
All of us work happily : )
