My son 13 mths can walk independently. He start to learn walk since 8 mths, he can push objects to move since 10 mths. But he not dare to walk without holding things.
Something very interesting was that he can walk by himself if he hold something on hand, such as his shoe, but he could not walk if you take away the shoe or the thing he told! I think he can walk since 12 mths, but just he did dare to do so.
My daughter was able to lift herself up standing from holding the bars of her bed when she was 6 and a half months old. She can walk a few steps indpendently now, just 10 months old. But she is a super-active baby!! Never stop for a second. She even runs if holding my hand.
My cousin, just two weeks younger than my daughter, do not know how to crawl, just sit there and stand with support.
