但只要雙方同意而簽收又累字白字寫低就應該無問題的。工人的law和我們的labour law一樣.

I am not sure of the Labour Law, maybe my Indonesian maid knows better than I do. Anyway, we always try to compromise with the maid on holidays. I know that they want to go out and meet friends, especially it is a tiring task to take care of baby during the working days. However, I ocassionally request her to work on Sunday and her public holidays. Sometimes she negotiates with us, sometimes she accepts our request right away. Well, my husband is quite fair on this and can usually resolve the matter.
Labour law is a good guideline, but I don't prefer employer and employee relationships to be soley built on that.

我問過勞工署架啦,勞工假一定唔可以用$補,雙方同意都只可以補假,如果補$,工人唔玩野就雙安冇事,玩起野上黎,佢係可以告僱主架 :wink:

thanks heaps, sorry to trouble you so much
the normal holidays for every month leh, can i accumulate to one time, maybe Dec has 6 days (for jul, aug) as an example, because if i go for trip leh,, she can be free.
one mummy's saying was correct, when nothing happen, it's nothing, when something happen, every thing can happen.

這是赤赤裸裸的種族歧視 (prejudice & discrimination based on ethnicity or country of origin), 上一代的中國人在外國 (英美加等) 常是受害者.

不過時代不同了, 今天在外國說這樣的話不單會比人話, 仲隨時會比人告上法庭罰一百幾十萬, 當然是美金...

不過各媽咪不用擔心, 在香港不單妳說這樣的話冇問題, 將種族歧視赴諸行動也可以, 是完全合法的 (so far)! 在 BK 也好常見, 大家都完全接受.

有D人唔識死, 會在 BK 公然提出這樣的說話和想法是不正確的. 可幸大部份 BK 媽媽都能明辨是非, 且以敏銳的觸覺知道佢的動機其實是 attack 人, 話之佢講乜, 先試試一齊同佢嘈倆句, 夠佢講就大穫全勝, 大家 happy, 唔夠佢講就可以用一句 "俚D人....", 簡單有效地畫清界線, 唔使再哂 gas 講道理, ignore 佢就可以o拉!

本來冇乜問題, 唯一有少少擔心D小朋友, 大個o左會以為自己和媽咪一樣識睇相, 望o下人地膚色, 見係"賓賓"就知佢蠢 (或聰明過頭)、衰、賤 (noniki 話)、懶惰、夾信唔過. 但風水有時會轉, 香港人以前都係o敢睇"阿燦".

123...Holidays: I am not sure if you have asked your maid to acknowledge her holidays. If no, you should keep a record, this is one of the proof records. Also, I don't think anyone would like to put down the illegal act in writing, right ? And 抹車 - it depends on whether you have included this item in your maid application to HK immigration. In the very old employment contract, such item is not coverred.
