你直接申請PR, right?當你批在PR後有無離開過澳洲12個月?無就唔使。同埋你申請後佢會寄confirmation letter, 話你知收到你個application 還有一封invitation letter, 如果要，佢會係封letter提你。無叫就唔使做。不過我唔知個新policy之後會否有唔同。

I've heard that if you left Australia with your partnerit doesn't count ??!!! (Provided that your partner is citizen) Is that true ??

我三月果時apply咗, 好似冇呢個問題...

淨係記得個apply問我apply前十年既出入境記錄，超難計, 我用埋excel都用咗一個鍾

yes when you fill out the citizenship application form, you are required to put in all the departure details in the past 10 years. Even you only left OZ for a week.
I took more than an hour to complete that part. it was really time consuming .....

I read that too but when I searched on the internet, someone mentioned when you apply citizenship, you only need to put in the departure details since you get your PR (for IMMI to determine if another no criminal record is required)

christenenstar is right. when you apply online, it will ask you to fill out your past 10 years departure records.

I read some information online before I filled out my form. I noticed it mentioned the department only required the departure details after you received your PR. However, when you fill out the form, they ask you for more details.

By the way, another case. I just got a call from one of my friends. She asked if she is eligible to apply for the citizenship yet since IMMI website doesn't included any calculator anymore. IF under the old system, is she eligible ? Would anyone Please help

According to some of the OLD criteria...

1. Lawfully stayed in Australian for 4 yrs (within 5 yrs period)

2. Within that 4 years period, at least one yr as a PR holder (without leaving the country for more than 90 days) right before the application of citizenship.
