Just saw your post I feel for you.
I moved to Canada for 2 years when I was 4 months old pregnant I didn't know anyone in here except my husband's friends and 99. I didn't go out much before giving birth
After bb was born and settled down I start looking for some kid-related activity like music class or baby sign language and then I met several moms who can talk to and we hangout sometimes too ...
so enjoy the pregnancy and you will be fine :)
Plus, the living cost in here actually is not too bad compare to HK so basically you don't have to spend much for a day :) no worries! Be happy !!
If i m living in Toronto for sure I wanna meet you and give u a big hug :)
think positive, there is always an exit at the end of the road.
might even thought about doing baby sitting for the moment.. one of my girl friend has similar case like you. doing telemarketing at home to start with during pregnancy. then study for the childcare course. while on material leave, she intake 2 other toddlers to take care from surrounding neighborhood ... this are the source of income and gain her parenting experience....
