有得賠的, 最高賠償好似大約 £28 (1st class, 2nd class, recorded delivery)

如果 1st class delay 左都有郵票賠的

如果你寄既野超過 £28 就寄 special delivery, 可以買保險

我以前做過 ebay , 都好少寄失野, 間唔中咁囉, 都 claim 到既.

Ha..you finally received the card from HK. I just wonder where it was hiding for few months.

BTW, I think most countries sometimes lose people' letters or parcels, no matter they are recorded mails or not. In the past, my sister sent two registered letter to me and my mother from HK to Canada, but my mother's one was disappeared. After few months, my sister asked for the refund and the HK post office refunded her for the maximum amount HK$300 at that time. Actually, the thing in the letter was worth more than such amount. My sister said the person who dealt with those registered letters was so 鬼鼠/古怪 and she suspected that person stole one letter away.

Also, I remembered I sent a Valentine card to my husband from HK to UK in the past. The card was also lost.

As far as I know, "recorded mail" or "international signed for" only can get the refund for 幾拾鎊. If your things are more valuable, you need to add more money for the insurance.
