wow....Jasmine....is a very 'sexual' essential oils with nice smell.
there are lots of Rose essential oils. However, the top quality (or the best one in the world) must be:
1. from Bulgarian Rose
(the professional name is Rose Damascena)
2. extract from 'distilation' method
3. the real Bulgarian Rose oil is not in red or pink colour, it should be light yellow or yellow-green colour
Top quality one can be very very expensive, because:
1. supply is low
2. only specific weather and altitude of the mountain can grow good rose
3. use traditional method - pick up the flower by people's hand, and must be early early morning, before the sun comes out to have evaporations
4. extra large quantity of rose can only produce few drops of oil
5. it's very powerful and has many functions. that's why one 1-2 drops is enough once a while
that's why good ones can be very expensive, can be over $2000 for 2ml or $4000 for 5 ml
Of course, there are cheaper rose essential oils in the market, eg. they might be not 100 % pure, or from other kinds of Rose, or not from Bulgarian. However, some countries's weather and soil can also have good rose supply, such as Turkey, Morroco, France....(mainly in mid to east europe)
