Please be optimistic, the first 6 months were the hardest part for me, but once my son learned that I am the mother, and always want to stick with me, even tho I was tired and stuff, I feel very warm and sweet... And be patience, when you see you baby learns something that you teach, like "kiss kiss" or say "mama", it's very rewarding!
Don't give up! It's very meaningful and rewarding to be a full time mom!
I also got such kind of depression when I gave birth to my 2nd child. At that time, I changed my maid (her did her work badly), my hubby was not working happily, the baby always cried and did not sleep at night and my elder daughter was very jealous and always shouted and did something to hurt the baby.
At that time, I felt helpless and could not see any light in the future.
However, please trust me, this is a transitional period only. Try to contact your friends and relatives and talk to them and never hide yourself at home.
When you see your baby's first smile, first crawl etc., you'll know that the hard time is over.
Remember your baby always relies on you. You must keep your boby and mental healthy.
