I bought healthy times multigrain from taste and usually mix 10tbsp with 60 ml of breastmilk but it is still very watery. My baby definitely likes thicker texture cos when I feed him congee his mouth is always open waiting for me to send the spoon into his mouth. The first time I made him spinach and pork congee which he liked it ok. After about 4 days I switched to tomato and pork and he just loved the taste of tomato. This week I am letting him try fish, 紅衫 for 3 days then I will switch to salmon which is supposed to contain lots if good stuff like omega 3 fatty acids for babies' brain development.

by the way, what kind of congee you started with to your bb? just plain congee or mix with something else? How about the rice cereal? plain also too?
He has always been a good eater since day 1- already drinking 75ml while still in the hospital while the nurses suggested no more than 30 for newborns under 1w. By end of m1 he was taking 100ml 7x a day then 150ml by end of m2. But he started showing symptoms if厭奶 at about 5m so I decided to let him try cereal early and he had no problems switching over. Now he gets 1 meal of cereal and 1 conger a day and also 3 bottles but it is always a battle to get him to finish the bottle unless he is very sleepy and almost passed out~
