再多口一句,如果是基督徒家庭,祈禱求神為小朋友安排適合的小學吧.天父不是用來給我們宗教分的:)

我個女今年9月升小一入馬循,回想舊年也和你們一様.想很多,考慮很多問題....
不過,感謝主,我女兒入了一間很適合她的學校.

We plan on monitoring 馬主+馬循+靈糧, to see if they will have any open day for recruiting new students. Cause some primary school will have seminar or information panel for parents. we think that is the best way to get a REAL feeling about the school... in-person always is better than just reading on forum posting.

If 一呂 and 沙呂 is so popular, we worry that once our child even got accepted, the atmosphere in the school will be much more competitive... maybe in turn more pressure. These two schools are so popular... is it because just purely based on their academic performance? Or they have a connecting secondary school? Cause I think all the parents that are in the Primary school round, also try their best effort to find a 一條龍.

如果你主mos,有宗教分,首生,也喜歡靈糧的,其實也不用考私校back up. mos比較出名的學校都是基督教學校,係分散"客源"上會令基督教學校比較上易入.有媽媽說得對,靈糧不是太難入的,始終她的地點和校舍比馬主, ...

馬主是沒有open day的.馬循的已經過了,我當年也miss左:).靈糧9月會有,你可以留意下.或者你試試上她們的網頁看看給你的感覺吧.

兩間呂明才我完全沒有資料,因為從來也不打算跨區返學,免得小朋友舟車勞動.不過,這5間學校都不是一條龍的,至於是否有直屬學校,就不知了.

我明馬循哩D都係大熱,有20都唔一定十拿9穩,不過成數真係高過出去賻,係咪呢?

妳講得啱,其實我始終想近D,雖然沙田離馬鞍山唔算遠,不過校車一兜就隨時45MINS,甚至1HRS,我個囡間學校喺錦泰,佢有同學住銀湖,竟然要用足45分鐘先到,如果出沙田,嘩....

其實,妳係咪都喺HK長大架? 我見妳話想揀"馬主",我都有諗(因為口啤好),不過,後尾聽好幾個朋友講,"聖公會"嘅學校向來較傳統,好嚴,都幾催谷小朋友D學術上成績,於是,我諗番起細個住果區時,有一間叫都係聖公會,叫"主愛",連同姊妹校"主恩",當時佢地好出名,無人不識,因為成日喺"溫故知新"到勝出! 我大個左,上到中學認識到由主愛出身嘅朋友,佢係當年"溫固知新"參賽學生,全TEAM人要死讀爛讀上特訓班...!如果依家"馬主"仲係咁,妳怕唔怕妳D小孩入到,佢地唔習慣呢?

我唔係喺哩到踏"聖公會"D學校,完全無哩個意思! 只係,我聽到咁都驚,當然BUY嘅人大有人在,只係我唔會太考慮"馬主"LU,反而上次靈糧校長黎我囡囡學校做散學禮嘉賓,聽完佢講分享,印象好好,反而令我對哩間學校注意多左!

就係如MAGGIE 3493所講,我覺得分散左"客源",所以如果我有20分死守MOS理應中標機會大好多咁!

當然,如果家長認識學校位置遠近唔係第一考慮原因,學校BANDING/口碑,甚至係咪名校,有無"一條龍"先係最重要因素,咁...我都覺得可以出去賻,不過我諗左好耐,心大心細,,不過最終心果句都係想個囡"近近地",唔想佢讀書已經夠辛苦,細細個仲要長途咁返學,所以我估我最終都會留喺MOS網!

We just slowly learned today 沙田分3個網, 大圍88, 沙田91, 馬鞍山 89.

Maggie3493, thank! Too bad we missed the open day of 馬循... but will for sure watch out for 靈糧! I do agree with you, we are trying to minimize the commute for our daughter. Even taking school bus could be putting a toll on her~

米水, thank you for your personal opinion in regarding of 馬主. Being a high pressure education atmosphere is definitely something we watch out for, cause we definitely don't want our little angel fall into that type of an "entrapment"... for a lack of a better word :-P

From our kindergarten-search experience, it's truely a God's blessing paving the path for us. We entrust His guidance in 小一派位 with 200% of confidence. His plan for us is far better than we can plan for ourselves!

89網, 2011-12入小學?

Been watching over the (沙田) 91區11/12入小學 and (大圍) 88網, 2011-12入小學 threads. Seem for MOS's 89網 it's been pretty quite.
While communicating with other parents, someone recommended 培僑書院 also. Any MOS parents considering them also? I am still reading about the school, and other BK's thread like this one about that school.

Today we went to MOS's indoor gym playroom with our daughter in the afternoon... and we encountered one of the 馬主's finest... that little girl was only 8-years old but gosh... she's quite a piece of work! Of course I can't judge a school by a single poor/bad encounter with their student... but for sure it's putting some thought into my mind...

As I was reading EDB's official listing for Net 89, there are two other Christian primary school that rarely seen mentioned on BK.

Namely they are
- 九龍城浸信會禧年小學‎ www.haynien.edu.hk
- 馬鞍山信義學校‎ www.mluthps.edu.hk
- 宣道會台山陳元喜小學 www.catshcc.edu.hk

any parents familiar with them? Anyone know if they have 簡介會?

馬主喺馬鞍山來講係比較少做"宣傳"的小學(不會每年搞開放日, 宣傳單張係咁多間小學最少頁數, 最簡單), 所以真正認識呢間學校的家長其實不多.

不過, 喺 bk, 我見到好多對此學校的負面評價.
但係作負面評價的人, 其實並不完全了解這學校.
我覺得這樣對馬主有點兒不公平!

為何我說他們不了解呢?
因為好多時他們都是憑一些聽回來的消息, 或是因為致電校務處詢問時的不愉快經歷, 便總結這間學校不好.

過去兩年, 我看見不少對這學校的負面評價, 亦差點因為那些負面評價而決定另選其他學校.

其實我最想講的是, 家長想要認識一間學校, 最好自己親身到學校參觀, 或向該校的學生/家長詢問.

不要盡信非第一手的資料!

我之前係電視上見到佢地某知識比賽贏了呂明才, 不知是一呂還是沙田圍的, 而且環境幾好, 有無人比一些意見?

It's hard to get a 1st-hand experience with 馬主, when they don't have any activity or opportunity for outsider.

I have seen other thread "馬鞍山主風/禧年分精英班, 急急急!!!", and have some positive feedback about the school too.

I have also seen another thread "沙田馬鞍山靈糧VS禧年選擇邊間小學好呢", seem 靈糧 actually is quite good... except the poor location of the school.

I wonder... what's the best way to research about their 升中結果?
