First check the meter yourself to see if they made an error (ie. copied the wrong figure). that happened to me once and I was given a refund in the bill and it took one year to offset the excess.
Secondly, check if there is any water leaking. $800 is too much even for a new washing machine.
Thirdly, ask the Water Authority to come up to check if the meter is faulty.

之後整返好就交300幾,而家搬左又係用高水位洗衣機,仲3日唔埋2日就洗1機,但係都係交16.8咋
