I am not crying, but feel very upset and don't believe she will do this to me. I just contacted the agent and she said it's also hard for her to believe she will do that too......
Anyway, thanks for your comfort.
Some maids will start a law suit with ex-employer so that they can stay in HK longer than 14 days to find a better job. The longer she drags it on, the longer time she has to find a better job. It is not about if u treat her well before or not, it is all about $$$$. She wants to find a job and she does not have enough time.
I am not crying, but feel very upset that still don't believe that she will do this to me. I just contacted the agent tonight, and she also said it's hard to believe she will do this kind of things.
I have not hired a new maid yet and it's okay for me cause I am out of work right now, so I can take care of my boy for the time being.

yes
therefore we must take action faster than her
take an active role to settle all payment / claim so that she can't stay longer, Ha ha, even shorter time in Hk, Ha Ha Ha Ha
1/ inform Imm Dept about this incidence, by fax / by email (some BK members did mention), but do not mention any words such as "fire" or "terminate the contract"
2/ file a claim at labour Dept right after holiday
That is true. Immigration Dept usu side with the maid and ask u to pay all, don't give them trouble. The agent may also help the maid, cause getting her a new employer get them more commission.
If u can, try to tape her in secret saying she wants to quit early, then u ask her to stay, then she refused. That is hard evidence. What she said in front of the agent won't count, as the agent may BETRAY u!!!
