I want to study but I think it depends a lot of things, so far I can't find a suitable HR course for me to study.
It seems the family status discrimination is so serious, I think it will be more better if your department head also having a family with child, so they will be more concern.

Basically I have also considered to take a post grad. dip or degree, however, course fee is expensive and time is tight. Especially, my baby boy will be born this Nov. I don't know what to do to advance my current situation (in the point of salary and career prospect). But I'm sure it is helpless if we only get a higher education. Do u all agree with that???
Totally agree. Kept the money for child's education fund is better. I spent HK$60,000 for a post graduate diploma but nothing for return (both salary and prospect). :-(
Yeah. So, I really want to get out of this bloody situation that maybe to get out of this industry is the only way I could do........ But I need to support my family... my new born baby......and now at least I have a stable job and stable income........ Oh god !!! What am I suppose to doi??? :-(
what kind of diploma course you have chosen? Is it HR related? Is it good? It seems that you have experience in HR field base on your reply of the HR questions? I have less experience in handling the HR issue in private company and it is so glad to learn from all of you.
I also agree that saving the money for baby's education in future is more important. I think my next generation face a keen competition than we.

I think it's more better to change the job after completed the course. I think most of the company will not adjust your salary after completed a course. Actually, I just want to take some English course, my English is going to down grade as I worked in a local co. and using Mandarin more than English.

Yes. I just bought a baby carriage in Chicco last Sunday. It's a on sale item for just $898 (original price $1198) included fee delivery. Some of my friends and relatives will give me some used clothing, bed etc. So, baby stuff is almost ready. :lol:
