hi all,
I lived in Winnipeg for 10yrs and back to hk for 7yrs. I met my husband at U and we had son who is 2yrs old. we went to Toronto and Winnipeg last X'mas and lived there for 4mth. That's so good went back there and felt so relax.

Yes...that is what I think too.. I think my son will very enjoy there... Today is the first day to go to school, and I am choosing the school with one english teacher, so that he will easy to get use in English.

Don't worry, take it easy, if you planning back there have the reason for your baby, then don't worry about the other stuffs, cuz baby is the first priority right? I do agree get the job depends on "Luck" !

I am not the one came to / from canada, but i have a question for sharing.
I have a maid to work for my family for about 2 years (not finish the contract), but now she want to terminate the contract now suddently, she said she was introduced by her friend to work in canada, she must now leave my family.
I have one 4 year old son and one new born baby, it quite horrible to me to hear the reply from her.
Is it quite good for a maid to work in canada than in hk? good salary? good working hour? good prospect? good future? Thanks for your sharing

Hi Priscillafung,
Yes..what I know is when the maid stay in Canada for 2 years, they can apply for immigrant. Also, there is minimum pay in Canada...I think it is around CAD 8 = HKD 50 for each hour and they will have day off on Sat and Sun. Moreover, they will only work for 8 hours; after that, they can do whatever they want...That's why so many philippine maid want to go ......

But I want to know if they can apply for success easily? Would they take a large risk if they cannot go to canada and break the contract in hk?
