你覺得 Manly 好? (因為比較入,D人出入都是自駕,間學校又細咗D,一級得一班. 購物不是太方便,要看醫生重煩, 除非有親友幫手) 那不如 Neutral Bay P.S., 話晒上年新裝修, 又靚又high tech, 課室採用smart broad上課, 學生中西人都有.間學校好rich嫁, 有人話因為果區有一間好有錢的教會經常捐錢改善設施, 所以D嘢特別新.
我心水會選擇 Oatley P.S., 學生中西人都有, 有ESL support (English Second Language), 校內成績不錯, 競爭比一般學校少, 入精英中學較容易.

I just replied a msg in yr pm and just found this reply from you, tks.
Then I will search more about Neutral Bay and Oatley, if compare I think Oatley will suit me more as friends/relatives are living in Hurstville and Beverly Hills area.
I ask Manly Vale because one of my friend is living there and her daughter last year also go North Sydney Girls High. If you said it's not convenient for all facilities, then I think I will not consider la.

還有一間我覺得是<黑馬>的學校, 這幾年間冒升得好快, 從09年開始每年都有4-6人考入OC, 精英中學不在話下. 而校內不斷加建造新的球場 (Basketball Court, Cricket Net) 課室新裝修,牆壁重新粉飾, 相比其他學校更有學習氣氛, 課外活動又多(有D 學校是無的), 從3年級開始有日語學 & 科學堂是有實驗做的, 老師是由外面請回來教特別專業, 不是班主任教(澳洲的小學老師是全能, mug科都是一個教晒), Maths 都有分快慢班. 分小組上堂. 此校是 Peakhurst P.S., 不妨可以考慮下.

Again, one of the friend introduce Truscott Strett Public (in North Ryde), around 350 students and 35% non english speakers, more apartments to choose in Mcquarie Park so have to drive to school.
Do you know about this area and school? Sorry too many questions but for long term school and housing, we hope can have the right one. (pls take yr time to reply, I know you are very busy!)

這只不過是少少的分享啫, 因為當年我都遇過同樣問題, 住耐了便知多了這裡的教育情況, 遊戲規則(考試要求).
既然你有朋友推薦Truscott Strett Public 你又不妨問他攞多D 有關呢間學校的資料, 不是官方資料, 是實質情況, 例如他(朋友)有無子女在讀過, 老師對學生關心嗎? 如何分班?(校內人數好似未夠300喎, 可能會有好多混合班,即是 yr1&2 編同一班, 如此類推, 老師便要好有經驗先得),有無種族歧視? (唐人太少的時候, 可能自己會變成外星人) 要了解多D哦 .
當你手上有足夠資料後再考慮其他, 例如安排課外活動, 居住附近有無朋友幫你度過適應期(不用工作果D), 日常生活方便度……, 住落之後可能知道更多, 到時搬去邊都得, 係呢道讀書隨時都可以做插班生.
唔知答得好唔好呢?可能答漏咗, 歡迎再問!

小學階段我不會重視成績高低, 我主張培養孩子的學習興趣, 再觀察他的潛能, 在適當的時候 (yr.3 尾左右, 派Naplan 成績單後) 才決定日後安排.

從經濟角度住Oatley 會平過Neutral Bay, 質數又差不多, Hurstville買嘢勁方便, 去機場都近, 孩子上興趣班又多選擇, 駕車or坐火車都得. 而且從未聽過有人講這校的不是, 讚就聽得多, 現在也有朋友在讀 yr.5. 既然你有親友在附近住咪重方便 (還有我呢), 考慮吓啦! 在外國讀書, 做父母都是想孩子得到自由學習的樂趣, 做他們想學習的東西.(到了中學才是真正學習怎樣讀書.)
