i was also thinking of the family name issue... as my husband was also thinking of having the family to have 1 family name. to him that was quite impt. :)
But I have not done so yet... cos it's quite troublesome for me to change HK ID and passport for other country.

Mrs Ratts,

Yes I've dropped my maiden surname and take my hubby's. I keep my Chinese name unchanged.

Our kids hv Chinese names too and their surname in chinese is after my maiden surname.
