oh, not all 80's are like that...i'm also 80's and now 36 wks pregnant! actually 95% of my team are 80-90's ah and they are all very very smart, helpful and independent.
anyway, i told my boss and HR when i knew i was pregnant, but told him not to tell anyone until after 3 months. sometimes superstitious cannot be mixed with work issues ah, b/c your boss needs to know you are pregnant and make appropriate plans in the coming months. especially when you need to take sick leaves for doctor's appointment.
just remember don't keep things to yourself, no one in office will pity you ah!!
