Though you may use it with scratches, the colour of your utensil (e.g wok) will turn darker and darker, and become sticky. I got only half an egg if I use the ruined wok to make my breakfast.
After using this for years, I give up because I can't control how my maid use it......it's too expensive to keep replacing it. I still have a big berdnes saucepan intact because my maid said it is too heavy to use
I am now using a brand called the Greenpan as I got it from WingOx by redemption earlier this month
