I hope so ... then I will be regret for offering $160k hahaha. BUT she is special and never thinks as the same way as others. Her husband is loaded so may be she rather close it down than let me get it, becasue my offer is too low and too humiliating for her hard work last few years and the "great" reputation of the shop. i agree that you wait for your acceptable price. if your boss goes to migration, what she want is cash and get rid of the business. Give her a bit longer time, she may than accept your offer.
however, if there is large portion of aging stock, i doubt whether it's worth to pay $160k? it's quite difficult to clear the old style fashion.
another concern is if you get pregnant one day, all your energy and effort would totally diminish! Your body downturn would be much serious than the external economic downturn.
