Because the beach is too small!! Also the swimming pools in Magellen are too attractive, my son stayed in one of the pools that has two slides and he never wanted to leave. If you want to stay in Magellen and to swim/play in the beach, you better go to the islands like Sapi or Manukan.

請問Sapi or Manukan有無得玩"餵魚仔", 係咪要坐船仔去? 因為我帶2小朋友去 (2歲+3.5歲), 我細仔時時暈車浪,怕佢挨不了. 在電視看到, 有些地方可以沙灘淺水處玩"餵魚仔", 小朋友都可以參與.

PS: 決定唔到住那hotel ah??

Yes you can 餵魚仔 in both Sapi and Manukan. If you sons are so young, I think you better go to Sapi only as it is closer (around 20 minutes boat ride) and the beach is nearer to the pier. But mind you there are corals in the sea even close to the shore so you should let your sons wear water-resistant shoes or scandals when going into the water.

Magellen Sutera Resort has a several swimming pools suitable for adults and kids and it's close to town centre. It's not a bad choice if your sons are young. I haven't been to Shangrila Tanjin Aru so can't comment. Nexas and Shangrila Rasa Ria are farther away, at least 30-40 minutes but I also I haven't been there so can't comment.

我啱啱去完,真係好好玩,好開心. 我去咗Manukan冇去sapi,所以如果小朋友應該去sapi會好啲,因Manukan啲水都幾深,同啲水流都幾急,我著咗救生衣(因我唔識游水)都唔係好企得穩,而sapi啲水會淺啲,但記得著埋鞋(布鞋or涼鞋)落水,因水底有好多石頭同啲珊瑚,好易整損腳.
酒店我就住shanga-La's tanjung aru resort,一啲都唔舊,仲有好多嘢啱小朋友玩,小朋友會好開心,所以下次我都會同埋仔仔去.
而烏蠅我就唔多覺woo,反而真係好多蚊,所以一定要嘖蚊怕水.

Yes KK is quite expensive. Last summer I bought air ticket + hotel at almost $5k per person for 5D4N. Also expenses in there (food & local tour) are not cheap.

去KK的酒店及機票價錢的確並不便宜，但當地的消費很低，例如晚飯的消費可以是每人數十元港幣；亦沒有很多雜項的消費；所以還是物有所值的。

I believe it's mainly the air ticket cost. If your child is 2 years or above, he/she will occupy a seat on the plane and has to pay 75% of the adult ticket cost. My 7-year old son went with us. I can't remember how much did we pay for his package cost but should be slightly less than us.
