. If u have a little kid (2-8), bun bun is a better choice. However, u must interview the applicant over the phone by yourself! To ask her something not related to her job. If she can answer, that means her english is reasonable good. I'm going to hire one with 4 years singapore experience. My current maid is a yan yan, she is nice. But, i've found that her poor english is really a headache to me. She can just follow what my son said or copy what I have said to my son. It is a obstacle to a kid's speech development (nothing new!!!) I'll not depend on my bun to be the english teacher because my son studies in an international school; however, the english environment is also very important (I realise that after my current yan yan coming to my family).
