we slept w/ both kids, as we bought a big bed to sleep together.

Thanks for all the BK moms precious advices.

I agree that my son is very attached to me and my husband since he is sleeping in my room but in his baby bed. Eventhough he is taken care of by the maid in the day time, when he sees me in the evening he will only want me to hold him. However, I hope he can manage to sleep on his own when he is 2 yr old +.

These few days when he cried he the evening I would hold him or give him some water, then he would go back to sleep.

We should know that everyone would wake up in the middle of the night. It's normal. However for adult, we know how to make us asleep again. For kid, they may afraid and don't know what to do. So we have to train them the proper behaviour, i.e. go to sleep again quietly in midnight by themselves.
