You live in Daly City where belongs to San Mateo County. I think you better to use San Mateo benefits. I used Healthy Family for my kids when I have just arrived. It was so cheap. I applied it in the health center (at 90 st). There was a social worker who helped me to apply this insurance because I was at the rank of lower income at that time. Now, I am not qualified because my employers provide me health plan for my whole family.
My son entered pre-school when he was two and half years old. During the first year, he got sick in almost every month. I still remembered his first month to school. He always got sick and attended the school for about 1 week only. But he learnt a lot in the school. He liked the school after certain time and he asked me not to pick him up so early.

it's never be easy to give birth without your husband on the side.
I mean not just the delivery time but the prenancy peiod. if your family will in S.F.,you can think
50-70% works out okay after gave birth because u needs lots of helping hand : to cook and to clean.
If u already have your green card, I would suggest u gave birth in hk if your husband cannot company u for the time needs.after gave birth,and rest enough, go ahead and plan to come within every 6 months. airtickets is the price for the passport, gets the test and became us citizen
, if the kid is under 18 years old , the day when u gets the passport , he/she will became us citizen direct.however , if u are a strong woman and u can
bear lonesome , u can came to the us to gave birth , but I have seen some cases that the mother is suffered ( emotional problems after gave birth).think twice if it worths.

With your suggestions and from my SF friends (she told me that if bb is born in US, he cannot get HK ID/SAR passport until he stays in HK for 7yrs+), I decided to stay in HK to deliver.
vesley, one question about going back every 6 months. Will the immegration challenge me after knowing my baby is not born in US and seems staying in HK or flying back and forth frequently? Will it jeopardize my chance to become us citizen?
being separate with the baby is not easy ,
but there is people coming to the states within 6 months , in order to maintain the status and became us citzen.
but that's the price for citizenship.
u have to find a dependable person who can take care the kid while u are away for the week / month.another choice is : if affordable. make a trip

How are you? How are your little baby? It is flu season right now. My daughter got fever after the first day of school. She's OK right now. But she got a reminder yesterday that the teacher told me she always felt tired and sleepy in the class this week. Take care.
