owder Snow", when u fell down, u don't feel much painful.(this is my experience) For the air ticket, this is just an idea fm my travel agent. I think more or less is the same? oasismcmug 寫道:
I just find out from Yahoo that Naeba is 苗場. Do you have any holiday during Christmas?![]()

Yes, it seems like we have a lot in common as both of our daughters are nearly 4 and it would be their first time to ski. In fact, both my husby and I also love Japanese food very much. I wonder whether we have any other things in common?
Can you read Japanese as I realized there is quite a lot of informations that can be search from yahoo Japan regarding 苗場, but I can not read it. Too bad!Well, may be I can use the translator from the web and read it slowly. I wonder whether they have Australian coach there as well? (you know this is very important) You know the air ticket is so much cheaper if we fly to Tokyo instead. We can even go to Disney land afterwards. I can stay back in Tokyo just in case if my daughter can not stand the cold weather or if she got sick. My agent even said there is hotel that is right in the ski field and they used to book it for their clients. Of course he said 二世古 is almost the most famous ski field in Japan. I also do not know the snow quality in 苗場 as dry snow for skiing is very important. I afraid Tokyo will never be as cold as Sapporo and hence 苗場may have wet snow which is not good at all .
Yes, the price is for tickets only and it is a prelimary quote from Cathay. By the way, what CNY stands for? He said he can find out more once we have made up our mind where and some more packages may come as time is still young now.
Thanks for your iten and I will check my email. Thank you very much!
I only ski and never play snowboard. For Niseko, I only stay in Ashiri hotel but I've been to Prince for Dinner. It's a nice hotel.
Then, we can join together, right.

Rachelmummy,
Originally I also book direct flight to Sapporo but it is full and they don't allow me put on waitlist, hence, they only way is via Tokyo. What is JP, is it Japan airline. What I know that is there is not direct flight for JP fm HK - Sapporo except via Tokyo.
My daughter is 4 year old and it will be her 1st time to learn ski. It's really good that if we can join together for this holiday.
How about yr daughter, did she ski b/4?

I also want to take direct flgiht, but no choice.
I can only take my holiday in CNY as my girls already in K2 and her school holiday start at 15 Feb and Bk to school on 26 Feb. Hence no choice to take at Early March.
Well, my girl is only 3yr 10months+, really more or less the same as yr girl.
I try to make a group of family (4 - 5 groups) to ski together as it wl b more easy and fun for my girl to girl to learn ski. Now I'm trying hard to organize this group. Wl u join?

hello Rachelmommy,
I know Tzw Wing go to Sapporo because she knows it there and she has been there. Hence, she is going even she needs to take another flight from Tokyo to Sapporo. In consideration of the time travel and the cost difference for air ticket to Naeba and Sapporo, it seems like Naeba is a better choice. However, it seems like you are also more keen to Sapporo even there may not have any direct flight from HK to Sapporo. Is it because the facilities, skiing condition and etc etc of Naeba is really not good and it is not even comparable to Sapporo? I am tending to book Naeba and I hope I know the real situation before I make a wrong step.
Besides, it seems like everyone tend to go during CNY. Does anyone know whether the snow or skiing condition is good enough in Mid December. Will it be cold enough in Naeba? Thick and powdery snow?
Besides, my daughter is 3 yrs and 6 months old. Very close to the age of you two daughters, although she is only in K1.
