I don't really think there is an update interval field in DDNS setting page in router and IP-cam. Could you tell what model has such setting?

As for viewing of live video, my experience is that even if you can connect to the webpage of IP-cam, you are still not able to view the video, while all the restrictions on IE setting page has been removed. But at home, you can view everything even the IE setting is not changed at all.

Can you even login to your IP-cam? And what is your ISP?

It is common to have black screens. I have tried a lot of IP-cams at my office and over half show black screens.

As all PCs in your company cannot view the video, I can only say it must be the problem of your office network.

If a router supports DDNS, it should be able to report change of WAN IP immediately to DDNS when the WAN IP provided by ISP is different from IP of last connection. If dyndns.org is used, user should avoid updating of IP address using time interval because dyndns.org considers updating without change of IP address an abuse to their service and will block your dyndns.org account.

That means you can access the webpage of your IP cam, but the subsequent video setup fails. As the port used by IP cam to transmit video is random and cannot be set, little can be done unless firewall is disabled.

I think your soundless problem is likely to be due to different protocol used for video transmission in network. When you watch your IP-cam at home, UDP protocol is used which can transmit both video and audio. But at office, because firewall usually blocks all UDP and TCP port, the video can only be transmitted via HTTP protocol and audio is disabled. Note this depends on model of IP-cam and you may want to call the dealer and verify that.
