It's around $28xx - 29xx. I bought it at Mong Kok Computer Centre. You can compare the price before you buy it.

If you do not need WiFi and pure GPS + PPC, then you can choose P350. However, I prefer black color... and P350 is in white color... so, that's why I choose P550. Otherwise, P350 is relatively cheaper.

I have experience to use standalone GPS + standalone PPC too.. The GPS model is GPSlim 236 (this is the best one so far) and it has a latest model GPSlim 240 but I'd prefer GPSlim 236 at this moment. The PPC model is HP 4700. The screen is BIG and high resolution.

The issue is that you need to charge 2 devices in your car... If either one of the devices out of battery, then it becomes 'no use'. However, the speed to recognize the actual position (i.e. GPSlim 236) is faster than PPC with built-in GPS.

BTW, Mapking 10 is better than Mapking 7. P550 is good enough for me to use it as 汽車衛星導航.

我剛買左P350 2星期都ok, 因塞車就會帶你行第2條路。我老公測試左好多次。如上次測試,由屋企往尖沙咀,佢就帶老公行第2條路,但老公唔信點知就遇到塞車啦!!

其實P550 和 P350 除左机身顏色不同外大至上一樣, P550 有藍芽, P350 就行紅外線。
P550 at $2880, P350 at $2180

P550 has WiFi and Bluetooth and it's black in color.

If you do not need WiFi and Bluetooth, P350 is another good choice. However, it's white in color.

No monthly fees is required. It's free!

I'd suggest that you should buy chinese version (should not buy english version + chinese system)

BTW, it comes with Mapking 7 and they can help you to install it... In the future, I'd prefer if you can install Mapking 10 (0829 release). It's better than Mapking 7.

Mio P350 and P550 should be the same. So far I use for more than 3 months, it's 可靠的...

Shouldn't... However, it may be quite difficult to have a clear understanding which direction should drive when you're in Mongkok... Actually, I only need to know where can I drive to the main road then I should able to drive it back to home... heeehee

Steps for Installation:
=====================
1) Install ActiveSync to your PC
2) Connect your Pocket PC (PPC) to your PC
3) Install MapKing G10 (Main Program)
4) Install Extra Vocal Assistance (i.e. Cantonese)
5) Copy Hong Kong Chinese map to your PPC
6) Install Magic Button (Optional)

I think it's good enough for general GPS purpose.
