Thanks for sharing with us when you're in Paris. Sounds great! May I know a few things:

1) How's the street safety there? This is what I'm most concerned.

2) Where will you go these few days?

I only have 3 full days in Paris and will leave for HK on 4th day afternoon. I need to get the plan done before I fly out next Friday.

How do I book boat trip tickets?

Sorry I can't find the boat trip you mentioned departing la tour eiffel. My sister said I should do one at late afternoon so to catch the view of central Paris during dusk time. Can you give me the link?

我們住在lyon 站側的novotel , ok gar ! 我去之前都有點擔心, 搭地鐵去聖心時見到,其實他們好明顯, 東歐人樣,人多迫入車箱,眼周圍望,我都有望住扖手, 自己小心些就ok!填問卷,黑人賣手繩那些say no , 他們即走開!

2) 時間好像夠,但好像不夠! 如要shopping 已無左大半日, 我們行百貨公司,帶住細,行兩行要去toilet , 跟住仲訓左, 無帶車仔,要走!所以一定要有目標和set order list ! lafayette toilet free , printemp , 要1.5歐羅,在做tax free 那層才有個免費toilet !
去了鐵塔,早晚各去一次,因到9點幾才天黑! 羅浮宮門口,無入場,因太細,不懂欣賞!在河邊行下去勁hit 好多鎖橋 , 聖母院, 聖心,蒙馬特區, 協和廣場,凱旋門, bastile...
我們預多了時間去機場退稅, 所以下午機,但11:00 已搭車走! 不過退稅好快, 半個鐘攪掂,但如遇正國內團就要等等等等!

2004年6月出世 , 重3.72kg

2009年8月出世 , 重3.38kg

Sights in Parc de la Villette:
Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, the City of Sciences and Industries
The Geode
Cité de la Musique, the City of Music
The Zenith, a nightclub offering musical concerts
contains 10 theme gardens:
- The Garden of Mirrors, le Jardin des Miroirs, contains 28 free-standing mirrors set among woodland pines and maple tree
- The Garden of Dunes offers a rolling landscape, pedal windmills and air-cushioned areas for children to expend lots of energy.
- The Garden of Trellises, le Jardin de la Treille, includes 8 terraces of climbing vines with 90 bubbling fountains amongst them. There are also 7 bronze sculptures found here
- The Garden of Bamboo, le Jardin des Bambous, sits 6 meters below the rest of the Parc de la Villette.
- The Garden of Movement, the Jardin des Voltiges, is a play-area with different kinds of moving apparatus
- The Garden of Islands, le Jardin des Isles, has a black and white marbled path which winds through oak trees, conifers and pines.
- The Garden of Balance, le Jardin des Equilibres, has metallic kites hovering like giant birds within the vegetation.
- The Garden of Childhood Fears, le Jardin des Frayeurs Enfantines, has a walkway broadcasting eerie music as one crosses a forest of blue spruce and silver birch trees.
- The Garden of the Dragon, le Jardin du Dragon, is a giant, 80 meter long climbing apparatus in the shape of a dragon with a long slide extending from its mouth.
- The Garden of Shadows, le Jardin des Ombres, is an array of black and white tiles.

My kids were 6 and 3 when we went there, they enjoyed playing in the gardens (like children's playground)

For the boat trip which is organized by "canauxrama" company, I boarded at 'Marina Arsenal' which is in front of 50 Bd of Bastille which could be reached by metro, station Bastille

For tickets, you may buy at the port, or buy from their web site .

Thanks for the detail. YOu haven't been to the science museum, right? I saw there's a city of children event in the museum, wanna know what's it. Thanks.
