If you have worked one month there before getting pregnant, you can get 4/6 maternity leave if you carry to term. The 40 weeks counts from we you start work to the day before your m leave.
Your boss cannot force you to take no pay leave or fire you. It is against the law to do so after you get pregnant. If he fires you, go to the labour dept and he has to pay you till 6 weeks after the baby's birth!
Of course, if he is unhappy, he can still fire you one week or one month after u return to work. Then you can sue him for family position discrimination.
