really, R U Singaporian ? i thought you will give birth in H.K but i think the medical facilities are more advance compare with H.K. So, when are you leaving H.K. , If i 'm not wrong you can not get onboard when you reach 36 weeks.
I m HK people and I married to a Singaporean. About medical facilties I think it is the same as HK not so much advance. In Singapore, most hospitals and doctors have package. After u join a package u will have more discount. For my case, I already join a package, take operation and i stay in one bedroom ward for 4 days 3 nite HK$ 35000. ( include everything for me and my baby). I just bring my clothes then ok. I think this point is better than HK. I leave HK when my baby was 16 weeks.
Do you know, take operation in HK how many days u live? I booked for my c-sect at 12pm. O, yr baby is boy or girl. YOur baby is my baby friend. hehe. ( my baby is a boy) :-P

In H.K. $35,000 is just a basic for the doctor fee and hospital fee (room for 6 people). Are you going to stay in singapore for good or you will come back home after your baby arrived?
I guess we can 補 after 12days since my mother-in-law told me that.
