Dr. Brown is really good. My son started using it since he's born and he did not have any vomitting problem. Cleaning all the parts is quite a lot of work. I boiled every bottle everyday in the first few months but the color pattern outside the bottles started to fade. The lactation specialist told us that we don't have to boil it, just use some detergent to clean the part and rinse it with hot water, put it in a tray or a bottle rack to let it dry naturally. I use a tong to hold all the parts so that I don't need to touch it. My husband just handle all the parts with his hands, thinks that our boy will expose to germs anyway. I would play safe when he's younger but he is very healthy anyway. He's now 15-1/2 months, only be sick for 2 times, not sure if Dr. Brown helps or not. But, Dr. Brown has very good reputation. Recently, some studies found that plastic bottle is not good, contains toxic substance. I am planning to use glass bottle but the only glass bottle available is Avent and it is not easy to find.
